Centauri — self-hosted infrastructure lab

- A self-hosted infrastructure lab: 38 containers on ~109 TiB of dual-parity ZFS, in a drive enclosure I fabricated myself.
- Destroy and recreate as a single 8-wide RAID-Z2 vdev. The pool started as two RAID-Z1 vdevs, one of them 20 TB drives — a layout I had already written up publicly as my worst decision, because a single failure at that capacity means a multi-day resilver hammering the survivors, and a second failure in that window takes everything.
- Repurposed desktop + LSI SAS3008 in IT mode + self-fabricated enclosure. ZFS needs to see raw devices.
- The HBA had failed, not the disks. When several drives fail at once, suspect the thing they have in common.
- Full pool scrub: 1 day 21 h 49 m, 0 errors repaired.
- Pool capacity: 146 TiB raw · ~109 TiB usable · 76% allocated · 37% fragmentation.

- Designed and shipped its public site: transparent pricing, a stated process, and an offering spanning sites, web applications, hosting and office IT.

React 19 • Three.js • WebGL- Built an interactive 3D educational experience with Three.js and React Three Fiber.
- Optimised WebGL rendering of particle systems and timelines for consumer hardware.
Inter-Freight AutoClient
Next.js 15 • Supabase • PostgreSQL- Paid client engagement. Scoped the build with the owner, produced a mockup for sign-off, then delivered the platform end to end as sole developer.
- Built on Next.js 15 and Supabase with a secure internal dashboard for inventory management and Zod for runtime schema validation.
- Replaced a manual inquiry process with structured lead tracking and CARFAX report integration, giving the business one place to manage listings and enquiries.
CDN DayZClient
Next.js 15 • TypeScript • Tailwind- Paid client engagement. Community platform with live server status via GameDig, launcher-verified mod inventories, news ingestion and a searchable error-code diagnostics hub.
- Also built and self-host CDN_Captain, the retrieval-first support bot serving the same community.
Pearl's HavenClient
Next.js 16 • React 19 • Tailwind v4- Paid client engagement. Produced a mockup, took it through sign-off with the owner, then built and shipped the site solo — including a further round of changes requested after sign-off.
- Single-page marketing site for a licensed childcare provider: programmes, daily schedule, photo gallery with lightbox, and an enquiry form.
- Built with accessibility in mind — skip-to-content link, descriptive alt text across the gallery, and properly labelled form fields.
RunOrNopeLab
C# • .NET • Static Analysis- Windows static analyzer that reports what an untrusted executable appears capable of without executing or uploading it.
- PE/CLR parsing that cites exact imports, strings and IL as evidence, behind a fail-closed isolation core.
